Blade
Forged from AISI High Vanadium A2 tool steel, fully stress-relieved, triple-tempered, cryogenically treated, and hardened to 60–62 Rc for superior edge retention. The back has a semi-mirror finish, and the beveled sides feature a small 90° flat for a safer, more comfortable grip. Each cutting edge is ground with a 17° primary bevel - square to the side flats - plus a 2° micro bevel, and arrives factory-sharp enough to shave hair. Blade length: 6". Total tool length: 9.2" with the regular handle.

Ferrule
Machined from solid, fatigue-resistant steel hardened to 54–56 Rc with a double temper for extra strength. Center-bored and reamed to slip precisely over the blade tang, seating flush against both the blade's shoulders and the wood handle. This design protects the tang, reinforces the handle, and gives the chisel the strength to absorb repeated mallet strikes. Hand-polished for a refined finish.

Handle Steel Core
Built from the same high-tensile, fatigue-resistant steel as the ferrule, allowing the chisel to be assembled permanently or reassembled repeatedly. The core is hollowed and milled at the center for balanced weight, with precision-tapped ends that securely anchor the blade tang and striking cap. Handle length: 3.87".

Striking Cap
Precision-turned from solid aluminum with a domed top and a finely threaded center post that locks securely into the steel core. Its wide, flat back seats firmly against the wood for maximum contact - tightening the handle compresses the cap against the wood to lock everything in place. Domed surface hand-polished. Weight: 10 grams.
